When I opened up our photo agency’s website to select which celebs we would cover yesterday, I was met with a veritable Kardashian-a-palooza. Most PR people and event planners would give their right arms to have the arrivals and departures at their events covered as breathlessly as the celebrity media has dissected Kelly Osbourne’s and Nene Leakes’ attendance at Kim Kardashian’s Baby Shower. To our knowledge, though, no one’s dissected what those attendees were carrying to the joyous event, so that’s where we come in.
The bags were great, of course – Kim doesn’t have many non-rich friends – but for me, the most interesting part was seeing who was invited to the party. It’s hard to remember that even Kardashians have friends like the rest of us, and Kim’s apparently include singers, reality TV stars and members of the entertainment-industrial complex. There were also a few people we couldn’t name (and neither could our photo agency), but if the bags were good enough, we included them as well.
